I agree with you on those keyboard. Due to water damage last month and worn keys, the power and space bar button are the only keys that works on my laptop. And I also lost speakers and brought external ones last month too. Love live the desktop! Also, I have found the ergonomic keyboards to be a must have for bloggers/writers. The ergonomic keywords are big, chunky and hard to initially get used to but for all the hours they are a great investment in my daily comfort. 50 keyboard a real try. 5 at Goodwill, if you try them for a solid two hours, I promise you your wrists and your body will thank you!

Thanks for your kind words. My computer is running out of memory space, so I guess it is time to get a new one. Your article is quite timely and informative. I was considering getting a tablet, but then you pointed out the limitations and now I clearly see that getting a laptop is the best solution for me. Thanks Breathing for your kind words and comments. I agree with what you said here. A useful post describing the different choices of perfect computer for home office. The author has very clearly mentioned that what modern day people can choose for their home office. It depends on the usage and needs of the office. Those who don’t have to move from their office place can set themselves with desktop. But here is another condition. If you need high quality graphics and other additional requirements, high quality laptops or MacBook can be the best choice for you. You should also choose a device that can handle the work load of yours.

Also it must suit your personality ans style. Thanks Linda. It does sounds cool to do a split form on your desktop. I don't think my laptop can do that! Since I do a lot of writing, I tend to gravitate toward a desktop configuration. Galaxy Note as I can write my notes and emails on it with a pen. Thanks Rachel. Can you let HP know for me, I appreciate it Rachel. I hate the NFQ and hope they respond to my email. Hi Kristen, This looks perfectly fine to me. I can't understand why it wouldn't be featured. I voted up and useful. Hey Peach, I don't blame you. I think 24 would work better for me. Thanks for the visit. LED to widen the screen. Thanks Jasmeetk for stopping by and commenting. Don't we alll, Sandeep. A laptop with a case is also perfect for travel, too. Thanks for the visit. I like desktop. But when I travel I wish I had a tablet. A tablet will work, Poetryman, when you travel and on the go. Thanks for the visit. Whenever we travel I, wish I had a laptop. At home I prefer a desktop. What I think I need to do is get a tablet to travel. Hi Lorelei. I used to have both like you for backup. But I just have my laptop. Close enough. I haven't used my new desk since I moved last fall and hope to move my laptop there, when I'm feeling better. Thanks for the visit. I have both laptop and desktop computers but much prefer my desk computer. It just feels more like an office I guess.

USB 3 is now available in the market. This is a great development in file transfer speed given that USB interface to external memory devices are widely used for backup. Like any new technology, there will always be a number of disadvantages that comes with it. Nevertheless in this year, Consumer Electronics Show, the USB 3 was a blockbuster. The older USB 2 runs at 480 megabits per second, that is about 57 mbps. But this rating is just the ideal as most users can only get up to 30 mbps and that is reliant on file size. With the latest USB 3, it runs at 4.8 gigabit per second or 570 mbps although the test speeds we got were far lower than these numbers. We did get 60 mbps in several tests and the speed was quite reliant on file type and size. Our actual tests showed that the improvement in speed was about 50% and also 50% of processing time was reduced. We tested the USB 3 with different file sizes and with large-sized files we got around 85 mbps of varying transfer speeds.
