hp computer laptop
First of all i would like to thanks all of you because today this blog reached 6 million pageviews. As you all know, many links are dead since the driver database hosted on the 3rd party webhosting deleted due to some unexpected reasons, and I'm working hard to fix all of them. So, Driver and utilities, 2 common terms when we installing drivers. Drivers simply make you pc/system detect and identify your hardware, simply in computer terms "installing the hardware" , while utilities is only an application software that you can use to tweak the hardware you just installed. For example if you use AMD Radeon graphic, you will download the catalyst Driver software which comes with Driver for the Graphic and catalyst software to adjust the graphic properties and configuration. Without utilities your hardware will work just fine, but without the driver you cannot run the utilities because utilities require the hardware installed in your system. Hp and compaq provide cyberlink youcam for the utilities.

For new model, no webcam drivers provided since windows 7 already install generic usb video driver for the webcam. So Hp and compaq didn't provide them. But, there will be problems with old model like c700 and f700, which some of them installed automatically and some of them did not. In this case i already provided general webcam dirver for old model to work with windows 7 which you can read here. For the wireless, compaq or any other laptop manufacture equip thier model with several type of wireless device. FOr example COmpaq CQ40 comes with 3 type of wireless device which is atheros, broadcom and intel. But all use one utilities which is HP wireless Assistant which you can download for free. The bluetooth application is similar for all model except for the drivers, but over the years most of HP model use Broadcom bluetooth while acer provide varieties of bluetooth devices such as broadcom and atheros. You'll find other drivers such as MEI , (intel management interface), turbo boost (for latest model only) and sata driver. This is what i know about driver and utilities, and maybe there are flop in my post which you can add or fix it in the comment section below.

Not every computer comes set up with a boatload of features and a high price. The HP G62-340us takes us back to a day and age when computing was simple and portability was a prime concern. This laptop offers substance and quality, providing everything you need without stretching the budget. 500 at most major retailers, this is a laptop worth checking out if you need a backup or are just looking for something affordable. Some tech geeks swear by expensive laptops with countless features that they'll never use, but the HP G62-340us actually has practicality in mind. Built with a 2.20GHz processor out of VISION technology from AMD, this is a laptop that starts out strong. There's a 320GB SATA hard drive that's clocked at 5,400rpm and a tidy 3GB of DDR3 RAM to power the whole thing up. On top of that, the HP G62-340us includes an 8x LightScribe DVD drive and a battery that can offer about four hours worth of juice on a single charge. A 15.6-inch display lets you take in the multimedia experience in style thanks to a solid selection of ATI Mobility Radeon graphics with up to 1405MB of graphics memory. Now some might say that a computer like this only interests those who don't know much about computing, but simple is making a comeback in a big way. People are starting to get tired of fussy, complicated laptops with little to offer by way of usefulness. These complex laptops are generally among the more expensive on the market, too, so that doesn't add to the fun factor.

I'm trying something a little different this year, and we'll see how it goes. In the past, I've had a Holiday Gift Guide, and published it appropriately for my December column. The problem with that, I've realized, is that that means it usually doesn't show up until perhaps the first week of December, at the earliest. So, this year, as I said, a little different. While I'm not thrilled about having a Holiday Gift Guide in November, I think that that might be best, if only to give folks a chance to begin ruminating. And besides, I saw some Holiday Shopping ad as early as September this year, the swine, so I placate myself in that context as being late to the party. Anyway, here are a few products that I reviewed during the year that might make nice presents or stocking stuffers for the tech-lovers among your near-and-dear loved ones.

I've tried to keep them within gift-range in terms of price, though that's as subjective as anything. There are links for each to the original reviews. Well, then, with out of the way - 'tis the season. The Stream 11 isn't "great" to the point of being a desktop replacement, but that isn't the point of it. It only has 32 GB flash storage (though the system can be expanded with a Flash storage card), no touch screen, and doesn't have the power for significant multi-tasking, nor a great deal of RAM memory, just 2 MB. 199 at the time of writing. But even that's not what makes this great as a gift. 25 gift card for the Microsoft Store. Because it also comes with 60 minutes a month - every month - of Skype world minutes, which is another savings if one uses it. 54. AND you get one teratbyte of OneDrive cloud storage included, which can cost hundreds of dollars elsewhere.
